A.A.R.M-1003 / Pressure Vessel Work
L.B. Steel's (Protective Door Industries parent company) Quality Assurance Program is governed by the Association of American Railroads and its M-1003 regulatory program. Very similar to ISO-9000 in scope, M-1003 maintains a finished product focus as compared to the ISO-9000 finished process focus. The major intent of M-1003 is to monitor finished product performance while ensuring that the entire manufacturing process is adhered to and documented. Our process allows us to work to ISO 9002 standards.
L.B. Steel, LLC/Protective Door Industries work under strict controls such as nuclear, railroad, automotive, heavy equipment and ASME. We are also certified in the pressure vessel industry both in "R" and "U" stamps for new and repair applications, Section VIII, Division 1. |
